Driver fatally collides with another vehicle on Kenwood Road near Salina

MAYES COUNTY, OK – According to FOX 23, a driver died following a head-on collision on Kenwood Road, around six miles east of Salina, Tuesday morning.

A pickup truck driver attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone when they collided with a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old man around 6:06 a.m.

First responders transported the 36-year-old man to an area hospital, where he died on Thursday.

The other driver refused treatment at the scene.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

Troopers investigate fiery crash near Jones

JONES, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fiery collision involving a commercial vehicle that occurred on Interstate 44 near North Post Road Thursday afternoon, according to KOCO.

The wreck happened around 2 p.m.

It is unclear if any other vehicles were involved in the collision.

The extent of the injuries or the number of victims is unknown.

Motorcyclist and passenger die following 2-vehicle Ottawa County crash

OTTAWA COUNTY, OK – According to KOAM, a motorcyclist died after colliding with a pickup truck at US 69 and South 580 Road Thursday night.

A 16-year-old woman was driving a 2010 Ford F150 pickup truck when she collided with a 45-year-old man riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle around 8:45 p.m.

First responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. His passenger, a 44-year-old woman, died on the way to the hospital.

The 16-year-old driver was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Her 16-year-old female passenger was not hurt in the collision.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

Wreck reported in southwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A crash was reported at South May Avenue and Southwest 53rd Street Friday morning, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

The incident occurred around 9:25 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

 

Emergency crews respond to crash in central Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK –  According to TTN Oklahoma City, first responders were called to the scene of an accident at Northwest 5th Street and North Walnut Avenue Friday morning. 

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 8:30 a.m.

Officials have not disclosed additional details.

CANADIAN COUNTY, OK – A crash blocked traffic at North Czech Hall Road and Interstate 40 Friday morning, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 8:25 a.m.
