Driver fatally collides with 9-year-old boy in Ottawa County

OTTOWA COUNTY, OK – According to KTUL, a driver struck and killed a 9-year-old boy on South 490 Road near East 30 Road Tuesday night.

A 67-year-old man was driving when he hit the victim around 8:24 p.m.

First responders transported the boy to an area hospital, where he died.

The driver and his three passengers were not hurt in the collision.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

UTV driver dies following collision with pickup truck near Welch

CRAIG COUNTY, OK – A man died following a UTV crash on East 110 Road near South 4460 Road Monday afternoon.

A 63-year-old man was driving a UTV when he crashed into a pickup truck around 3:40 p.m.

First responders pronounced the UTV driver dead at the scene. The pickup truck driver and their passenger were not hurt.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

LUTHER, OK – According to KFOR, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating an accident with injury on Interstate 44 eastbound near Luther Road that occurred Tuesday evening.

The crash blocked the outside lane of Interstate 44 eastbound.
