OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KOCO, authorities have charged a man for intentionally causing a fatal head-on collision at Wilshire Boulevard and Katherine Place on September 12.
The suspect was in an argument with a woman when he forced the woman into his car. The woman’s mother tried calling her daughter, but was not able to reach her. She then called the suspect.
The suspect reportedly told the woman’s mother that he had punched the woman and “was going to end this right now.” He then went into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with another driver.
The woman and the other driver died in the collision. The suspect survived.
Authorities charged the suspect with kidnapping and two counts of first-degree murder.
Trooper injured after suspect collides with patrol vehicle in Ardmore
ARDMORE, OK – A trooper was hurt when a suspect hit his patrol unit near US 77 and Sunny Ridge Road on Wednesday, according to KOCO.
Ardmore police officers were in pursuit of a suspect on southbound Interstate 35 near mile marker 33 when they called for assistance from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol around 5 p.m. Officers told OHP dispatchers that the suspect was heading east on US 70.
A trooper was setting up to perform a tactical vehicle intervention when the suspect intentionally crashed into the trooper’s vehicle. The trooper’s vehicle then caught on fire.
First responders transported the suspect and the trooper to an area hospital. The trooper suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The extent of the suspect’s injuries is unknown.
Authorities arrested the suspect when they were released from the hospital.
Wreck in Summit Parke injures at least 1 person
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to the Response and Accident Tracker, at least one person was hurt in a crash at Northwest 150th Street and Summit Parke Drive on Thursday.
The incident was reported to authorities around 6:16 p.m.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.

Emergency crews respond to crash near Ranchwood Veterinary Hospital
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to TTN Oklahoma City, first responders were called to a wreck at Santa Fe Avenue and Southwest 104th Street on Thursday.
Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 8:50 a.m.
Officials have not provided additional information.
