TULSA, OK – According to KTUL, a five-year-old boy died in a DUI collision near Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard and East 46th Street North on June 3.

A 23-year-old woman was driving a Chevy Malibu at high speeds on wet roads when she strayed into oncoming traffic and hit a Chevy Cruz head-on around 7:40 p.m.

First responders transported the two occupants of the Cruz, a mother and a 5-year-old boy, to an area hospital, where the boy died.

The 23-year-old was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

A blood test revealed the 23-year-old woman had a BAC of .18, over twice the legal limit.

Authorities charged the 23-year-old woman with first-degree manslaughter, aggravated DUI, and reckless driving on July 22.

 

Troopers investigate semi-truck collision near Terrace Park

TULSA, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a semi-truck crash that occurred on eastbound Interstate 44 near Memorial Drive on Wednesday, according to FOX 23.

At least one person was hurt when the driver of a silver car collided with a semi-truck.
