BLANCHARD, OK – A 62-year-old man from Paoli and a 47-year-old man from Lawton died after a wrong-way crash on the H.E. Bailey Turnpike Saturday.

The collision occurred around 8:40 p.m. News9 said a person driving a gray Chevrolet pickup truck was going east on the westbound lane of the turnpike and crashed head-on into a westbound white Toyota Camry.

The two drivers, the 62-year-old man and the 47-year-old man, the sole occupants of their vehicles, died from their injuries. Oklahoma Highway Patrol said both wore seatbelts and did not specify which driver was the wrong-way driver.

A full investigation is underway.

2 killed in rollover collision involving deer near Guthrie

NEAR GUTHRIE, OK – Two people were killed in a rollover collision involving a deer that happened near Guthrie on Saturday, News9 reports.

Preliminary details show that a sedan driver traveling north on I-35 crashed into a deer and was then struck by a big rig. The force of the crash caused the sedan to overturn.

Two people, a 23-year-old adult and a 40-year-old man, died from their injuries at the scene. Some other occupants in the crash were left with unspecified injuries.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol shut down the northbound lane for the scene clearance and investigation period.

OHP is actively working to determine the events that led to the collision.

Motorcyclist dies, pickup truck driver hurt in 2-vehicle crash in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A motorcyclist lost his life and a pickup truck driver sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Sunday night.

The motorcyclist and pickup truck driver collided on the 6600th block of South Riverside Drive, KTUL said. Preliminary details show that the pickup truck driver was going south and made a left turn in front of the motorcyclist, causing them to collide. Tulsa police also said the motorcyclist was speeding and traveling with other motorcyclists when the crash happened.

Police responded to the scene after 8:45 p.m. and declared the motorcyclist, a 21-year-old man, dead at the scene.

EMS crews also responded to the scene and rushed the pickup truck driver to a hospital.

An investigation has been started.

Injuries sustained in collision in OKC’s Twin Oaks neighborhood

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Injuries were reported in a collision that happened in the Twin Oaks neighborhood on Monday.

OKC’s Response & Accident Tracker first announced the crash at 10 a.m. at the intersection of Northwest 178th Street and Laurel Oak Drive. OKC’s Public Safety division has not clarified how the collision unfolded or whether anyone would be cited.

CENTRAL OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured in a vehicle accident that occurred in Northwest OKC on Monday.

OKC’s Response & Accident Tracker said the crash occurred around noon on the 2200th block of Northwest 12th Street. Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s Public Safety division is working to determine how the crash happened, but did not say if anyone was cited.

Transportation crews summoned to crash near John Kilpatrick Turnpike

NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews were summoned to the scene of a crash that took place north of the John Kilpatrick Turnpike on Monday.

Total Traffic Network’s OKC division said the collision happened around 8 a.m. on Rockwell Avenue.

Officials have not specified whether anyone was injured or cited.
