2 dead, 2 injured following 2-vehicle crash on US 259 in McCurtain County
MCCURTAIN COUNTY, OK – According to KOCO, two people died, and two people were hurt in a two-vehicle collision at US-259 and Old 41 Cutoff Rd on Sunday.
A 35-year-old man was driving north on US 259 when he strayed into oncoming traffic at a curve and hit a pickup truck driven by a 21-year-old man around 2:20 a.m.
Both drivers died in the crash. Two passengers from the 35-year-old’s vehicle were transported to local hospitals.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. They believe rainy and foggy conditions may have contributed to the collision.
