MADILL, OK – Two adults in their 60s lost their lives as a result of a head-on collision that occurred on U.S. 377 near Coleman Road on Monday.
According to KTEN, the crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s preliminary investigation details reveal that a 60-year-old male driver was traveling north on the highway when he veered out of his lane and crashed head-on into a vehicle driven by a 69-year-old adult.
OHP said the two drivers succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The 60-year-old man was from Gordonville, and the 69-year-old adult was from Kingston.
OHP has not specified what caused the Gordonville resident to lose control of his vehicle.
No other occupants were reported to have been involved in the deadly head-on collision.
Officials suspect speeding as factor in motorcycle-car crash in Frontier City
FRONTIER CITY, OK – Authorities suspect speeding was a contributing factor behind a motorcycle-car crash that left one person in critical condition last Tuesday, Jan 13.
The collision occurred on I-35 South, News9 reveals. The incident unfolded when a driver of a car crashed into the front of a motorcycle. The force of the collision left the motorcyclist with critical injuries.
Ambulance crews transported the motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment.
