BARTLESVILLE, OK – One teenager died and another was injured in a pedestrian collision that took place on State Highway 123 in Bartlesville on Saturday.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol told Fox23 that the driver of a car struck the two teenage pedestrians on the southbound lanes.
EMS crews hurried to the scene and transported the two teenagers to a hospital. A 17-year-old teen, a Bartlesville local, died from their injuries, and a 16-year-old teen survived.
Officials did not disclose the current physical condition of the surviving pedestrian, but said they are undergoing the necessary medical care for their injuries.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the 17-year-old’s family has been notified.
It is not immediately clear whether the teenagers were walking on the shoulder of the highway or in a lane.
OHP has not classified this pedestrian collision as a hit-and-run and has not announced any citations, filed charges, or arrests for the driver.

At least one pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle in Northwest OKC
NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one pedestrian died after getting struck by a vehicle in Northwest Oklahoma City on Monday, KFOR said.
The deadly pedestrian crash happened in the area of Northwest 23rd Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the deadly pedestrian crash around 9:30 p.m. OHP set up barrier tape for overall investigation purposes.
At this time, OHP has not confirmed whether this pedestrian crash was indeed a hit-and-run.
No filed charges, citations, arrests, or the names of the involved occupants have been disclosed.

Traffic delays linger on I-35 near Norman due to multi-vehicle crash
NEAR NORMAN, OK – Heavy traffic congestion lingered on Interstate 35 along 36th Avenue Southwest near Norman due to a traffic collision that happened on Tuesday.
News9 first reported the multi-vehicle crash at 7:57 a.m. and told drivers to seek alternative routes or give themselves extra travel time to allow crews to clean up the scene.
No injuries or citations have been reported.
The cause of the multi-vehicle crash has not been made immediately clear.
OK DPS called to vehicle accident in OKC’s Manwell Acres
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety was dispatched to the scene of a vehicle accident that took place in the Manwell Acres area on Tuesday.
The crash happened after 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of South Ann Arbor Avenue and eastbound West Reno Avenue, according to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker.
No injuries have been reported.
Authorities did not specify the number of people and vehicles involved or the cause of the crash.
Delays reported towards Shields Blvd. after I-35 traffic crash
MOORE, OK – Traffic delays could be seen towards Exit 119 at Shields Boulevard due to a traffic crash that occurred on Interstate 35 South along Exit 116 at 19th Street.

OK DPS investigates vehicle accident along Will Rogers Int. Airport
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety is investigating the details behind a vehicle accident that happened along Will Rogers International Airport on Tuesday.
The crash happened after 12 p.m. at the South I-44 Service Road and Southwest 104th Street connector, according to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker.
DPS has reported no injuries.
