PRYOR, OK – One person lost their life, and another was injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred on the outskirts of Pryor on Tuesday, KTUL reports. 

The two vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 20 and Carbine Road. Pryor Creek police and medics were dispatched to the scene around 3 p.m. 

After arriving, a medical helicopter airlifted one person to a Tulsa hospital, and EMS transported the other person by ground to another hospital. 

The person who was flown via helicopter suffered fatal injuries, and the other occupant sustained minor injuries. 

A full investigation is underway. 

Pickup truck driver injured in crash with big rig produce truck in Catoosa 

CATOOSA, OK – A pickup truck driver was injured in a crash involving a big rig produce truck on Highway 412 on Wednesday.

According to Newson6, the events unfolded when the big rig driver, who was traveling on the eastbound lanes of the highway, had missed an exit leading to the Will Rogers Turnpike. The driver continued forward, made a U-turn in front of an oncoming pickup truck, and collided with it.

The pickup truck driver was left with non-life-threatening injuries, while the produce truck driver and their passenger were uninjured.

Law enforcement said the big rig driver and their passenger were coming from California. Officials said approximately 70,000 pounds of produce were on board the truck. It’s unclear if the produce fell from the truck.

Authorities have not said whether the produce truck driver was cited.

Transportation crews shut down the eastbound lanes to accommodate the flow of traffic.

 

Injuries sustained in vehicle accident in Northeast OKC

NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person sustained injuries in a vehicle accident that happened in Northeast Oklahoma City on Wednesday.

The collision occurred after 12 p.m. at the intersection of North Bryant Avenue and Northeast 63rd Street, according to OKC’s Response & Accident tracker.

The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety is actively working to determine the exact cause of the crash and has not specified the extent of injuries or whether anyone was cited.

Traffic delays reported towards NW 10th St. in OKC following I-44 collision

NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Traffic delays could be seen towards Northwest 10th Street due to a collision that happened on I-44 North on Wednesday.

TTN Oklahoma City first reported the crash at 8:30 a.m., saying it happened near the Northwest 39th Expressway.

Officials are actively working to determine the exact cause of the crash and have not said if anyone will face charges.

OK-DOT called to vehicle accident on Broadway Extension in OKC 

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Transportation was called to a vehicle accident that happened on the southbound lanes of the Broadway Extension on Wednesday. 

The collision happened around 8 a.m. along Hefner Road, according to the Total Traffic Network’s OKC division. Traffic delays could be seen towards 122nd Street.

Crash reported on Northwest 10th St. in Yukon

YUKON, OK – A crash was reported on Northwest 10th Street in Yukon at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

Total Traffic Network’s OKC division said the collision happened east of Garth Brooks Boulevard.

No injuries were reported. An investigation is underway.
