TECUMSEH, OK – One person was killed, and seven were injured in a two-car crash that happened at the intersection of State Highway 9 and Bethel Road on Sunday.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol told News9 that the collision occurred around 6:15 p.m. Preliminary details show that a teenage driver, traveling east on the highway, struck another vehicle driven by a 29-year-old woman.
OHP later determined that the 29-year-old woman failed to stop at a stop sign when she collided with the teenage driver’s car. The force of the collision caused one of the vehicles to overturn.
The impact of the crash led the 29-year-old woman’s passenger, a 19-year-old woman, to die from her injuries.
The teenage driver, a 15-year-old girl, and her four passengers, the 29-year-old woman and her second passenger, were all injured.
OHP did not specify the physical conditions of the surviving individuals, but confirmed EMS crews transported three of them to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.
OHP said all occupants wore their seatbelts and are actively working to determine the contributing factors behind the serious crash.
2 lives claimed in commercial vehicle collision in Boise City
BOISE CITY, OK – Two drivers lost their lives to a commercial vehicle collision that occurred on U.S. 287 near U.S. 412 on Sunday, OKCFOX reports.
Officials said both drivers were operating commercial vehicles. Upon arrival, authorities shut down the area, starting at 8 p.m. Sunday and ending just before 1:45 a.m.
Law enforcement has launched an investigation and has not shared additional details, which include the victims’ ages, place of residence, and gender.

Two high school students dead following vehicle wreck in Ardmore
ARDMORE, OK – Two high school students died following a vehicle wreck that took place in Ardmore over the weekend, KOCO reports.
The details behind the crash remain scarce. However, what is known is that the two students attended Dickson High School, where one played for the school’s basketball team, and one was a runner for the school’s cross country team.

Man, 32, loses life in rollover collision in Apache
APACHE, OK – A 32-year-old man lost his life in a rollover collision on County Road 1440 on Saturday, according to OKCFOX.
The solo crash happened before 8:30 a.m. The 32-year-old man was driving when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a barbed wire fence. The force of the collision caused his vehicle to flip over several times. The male driver, who did not wear a seatbelt, succumbed to his injuries at 8:35 a.m.
The driver was from Cyril.

Man riding wheelchair killed in pedestrian crash in Bristow
BRISTOW, OK – A man who rode a motorized wheelchair was killed in a pedestrian crash in downtown Tulsa on Saturday.
KTUL said the man riding the wheelchair was crossing the intersection of North Main Street and East 7th Avenue when they was struck by a vehicle before 9 a.m.
Bristow police later determined that the driver was making a turn when they collided with the man in a wheelchair.
Ambulance personnel were dispatched to the scene and transported the pedestrian to Bristow Hospital, where he later died.
Police have not said whether the driver would face any charges.
OKC PD dispatched to multi-vehicle wreck in SE OKC
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma City Police Department, tow truck crews, and ambulance personnel were dispatched to the scene of a multi-vehicle wreck on Monday.
According to KOCO, the collision happened at the intersection of Southeast 29th Street and Sooner Road in Southeast Oklahoma City, bordering Del City. Video footage captured by KOCO showed that at least one person was being loaded onto an ambulance.
The physical condition of the person expected to be taken to the hospital has not been made readily available. One car, which appeared to be a silver sedan, was seen being towed away by a tow truck.
Police have not specified the exact cause of the collision or the extent of injuries sustained.
