1 hurt in rollover RV crash in southeast Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to News 9, one person was injured in an RV accident on Southeast 59th Street near Henney Road Wednesday morning.

The RV was towing a car when it overturned.

First responders transported one person to an area hospital. Their current condition is unknown.

The Oklahoma City Police Department is investigating the incident.

 

Police search for second street racer involved in fatal crash near Oliver Park South

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Investigators are looking for the second street racer involved in a deadly collision at Southeast 41st Street and South Shields Boulevard Saturday night, according to News 9.

A 21-year-old man was racing a black sedan at over 100 mph when he plowed into an SUV backing out of a driveway around 10:30 p.m.

The collision caused the SUV to roll over onto a 43-year-old man walking on the sidewalk.

First responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The two occupants of the SUV, a father and his daughter, were used to the hospital. The father suffered life-threatening injuries, and the girl has a broken arm.

Authorities arrested the 21-year-old. They are trying to locate the driver he was racing.

 

Crash near Springfield injures at least 1 person

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to the Response and Accident Tracker, at least one person was hurt in a traffic accident at Southeast 89th Street and South Interstate 35 southbound Wednesday afternoon.

The incident was reported to the authorities at approximately 1:31 p.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
