1 hurt in motorcycle accident in southwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to News 9, one person was hurt in a motorcycle collision in southwest Oklahoma City Friday morning.

A pickup truck driver collided with a motorcyclist near Southwest 20th Street and South Grand Boulevard around 12:45 a.m.

First responders transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital.

Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

 

1 dead in pedestrian collision in LeFlore County

LEFLORE COUNTY, OK – One person died in a fatal pedestrian crash in LeFlore County Tuesday night, according to KTUL.

A 76-year-old man was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado near US-271 and 440th Avenue when he hit a 49-year-old pedestrian around 9:52 p.m.

First responders transported the pedestrian to an area hospital, where they died. The Silverado driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

Accident near Industrial Heights impacts traffic

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KOCO, a traffic accident near Industrial Heights disrupted traffic Friday morning.

The crash occurred near Southwest 29th Street and May Avenue.

An ambulance was seen at the scene, but it is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.

Dispatchers received calls concerning a crash on Lake Hefner Parkway southbound near Northwest 122nd Street around 9:25 a.m.
