BRYAN COUNTY, OK – According to KOCO, a woman died in a single-vehicle collision on US 70, around eight miles east of Durant, on Saturday.
A 33-year-old man was driving an SUV east on US 70 when he strayed off the road and rolled down an embankment before landing on the driver’s side of the vehicle around 8:30 p.m.
First responders pronounced a 24-year-old female passenger dead at the scene.
The driver sustained minor injuries.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
Driver fatally collides with another vehicle on Muskogee Turnpike in Muskogee County
MUSKOGEE COUNTY, OK – Two people died when a driver collided with another vehicle on the Muskogee Turnpike on Saturday morning, according to FOX 23.
A 31-year-old woman was driving a Honda sedan when she hit a Ford Expedition operated by a 29-year-old woman around 10:30 a.m.
First responders pronounced the Honda driver and her 39-year-old female passenger dead at the scene. The Expedition driver and her four juvenile passengers were hospitalized. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KOCO, a crash narrowed traffic on Interstate 40 near South Douglas Boulevard to one lane on Tuesday afternoon.
