1 dead in pedestrian collision near Val Verde

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KOKH, a pedestrian died following a fatal pedestrian collision near Val Verde Friday morning.

A driver hit a man near Northwest 122nd and North Meridian Avenue around 6 a.m.

First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.

The Oklahoma Police Department is investigating the incident.

 

1 dead in 2-vehicle collision on Oklahoma 28 near Chelsea

CHELSEA, OK – One person died following a two-vehicle crash on Oklahoma 28, three miles south of Chelsea, Thursday morning, according to KOCO.

A person driving a pickup truck was heading north on Oklahoma 28 when a 60-year-old woman pulled out from a private driveway around 3:30 a.m. The pickup truck driver hit the other vehicle’s driver’s side door.

First responders pronounced the 60-year-old man dead at the scene. The pickup truck driver was hospitalized, treated, and released.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

Fatal pedestrian collision reported in Owasso

OWASSO, OK – According to KJRH, a deadly pedestrian collision was reported in Owasso Thursday night.

The crash occurred at US 169 and East 56th Street North.

Officials have not provided the victim’s name.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

Crash near Prairie Queen injures at least 1 person

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a collision near Prairie Queen, according to the Response and Accident Tracker.

The incident occurred near Southwest 66th Street and South Pennsylvania Avenue around 12:38 p.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to TTN Oklahoma City, first responders were called to the scene of an accident near Draper Park Friday morning.

Dispatchers received calls concerning a collision at Southwest 44th Street and South Robinson Avenue around 9:55 a.m.

Officials have not provided more information.

 

Auto accident disrupts traffic in west Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A crash on Reno Avenue blocked traffic Friday, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

Emergency crews were called to Reno Avenue near Tulsa Avenue around 9:40 a.m.
