1 dead following wreck on US 62 near Chickasha in Grady County

GRADY COUNTY, OK – One person died in a two-vehicle collision on US 62 near OK 39 on Wednesday, according to KOKH.

A 72-year-old man was driving a Cadillac SRX north on OK 39 when he pulled from a stop sign and collided with an eastbound Toyota Tundra operated by a 39-year-old man around 4:55 p.m.

First responders transported both drivers and a 73-year-old female passenger from the Cadillac to area hospitals, where the woman died.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
