1 dead, 1 injured following Custer County crash

CUSTER COUNTY, OK – According to FOX 25, one woman died and another woman was hurt following a single-vehicle collision at Oklahoma 73 and Oklahoma 44 on February 20.

An 82-year-old woman was driving a Ford Edge west on OK 73 when she took a curve too fast, went airborne, and hit a ditch.

First responders transported the driver and her 81-year-old female passenger to an area hospital, where the passenger died.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. They determined that the unsafe speed for the curve of the road caused the wreck.

 

Hit-and-run driver strikes bicyclist near Lakehurst

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A hit-and-run driver collided with a bicyclist near May Avenue and Pelham Drive on Friday, according to FOX 25.

A person driving a white van struck the victim around 9:40 p.m.

First responders transported the bicyclist to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have not located the van.

 

Police investigate deadly head-on collision near Northridge

TULSA, OK – According to News on 6, the Tulsa Police Department is investigating a fatal head-on collision that occurred near North Peoria Avenue and East 46th Street North on Sunday.

A driver was heading south and was trying to pass another vehicle when they hit an oncoming vehicle.

First responders transported two people to an area hospital. One person was dead on arrival, and the other died at the hospital.

Crews shut down the area to process the scene following the collision.

 

Crash near Northwood Lake Estates injures at least 1 person

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a wreck at Northwest Expressway and Piedmont Road on Tuesday, according to the Response and Accident Tracker.

The incident occurred around 9:13 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

 

Emergency crews respond to crash near downtown Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to TTN Oklahoma City, first responders were called to the scene of an accident on I-44 southbound near I-40 on Friday.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 6:35 p.m.

Officials have not provided additional information.

 

Auto accident disrupts traffic near Dolese Park

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A wreck blocked traffic at Meridian Avenue and Northwest 50th Street on Friday, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

Emergency crews responded to the incident around 6:20 p.m.
