GORE, OK – A driver was airlifted to a hospital following a semi-truck collision in Gore on Wednesday, 4029TV reports.
Based on what our team knows so far, it appears that the may have driver lost control of his truck while driving on Interstate 40 and then crashed his truck into the woods.
The driver was entrapped or pinned and required extrication by fire crews.
Firefighters used Jaws of Life to free the driver before medical helicopter personnel airlifted him to a hospital.
The driver is in stable condition, according to officials.
Authorities shut down the eastbound lanes for four hours to accommodate the helicopter landing, the truck rescue, and the overall scene-cleanup process.
No other occupants or vehicles seem to have been involved, and no other injuries were reported.

SUV driver’s life claimed in crash involving fuel truck in Tulsa
TULSA, OK – An SUV driver was killed in a crash involving a fuel truck in Tulsa on Monday, FOX23 said.
Tulsa Police believe the SUV driver was traveling at a high rate of speed on East 51st Street South when they crashed into the back of a left-turning fuel truck.
Police said the truck was traveling on eastbound East 51st Street and turning onto the I-44 Eastbound off-ramp, and the SUV was traveling on westbound East 51st Street and approaching the off-ramp when both vehicles collided.
The impact of the collision caused the fuel truck to overturn on its side, and the SUV spun several times before coming to rest.
The SUV driver was left in critical condition and rushed to a hospital, where they later died.
No injuries were reported for the truck driver.
Officials suspect the truck driver may have had a protected turn, but have not confirmed that detail at this time, and are continuing to investigate the details behind the crash.
Authorities shut down the I-44 westbound lanes, along South Lewis Avenue for the scene-clean process and investigation.
Person hurt after motorcycle overturns in Atoka
ATOKA, OK – A man was hurt in a motorcycle rollover collision on McGee Creek Dam Road in Atoka on Saturday, according to KXII.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the incident unfolded when the 41-year-old man, operating a motorcycle, failed to negotiate a curve, which caused him to leave the road and his motorcycle to overturn.
Troopers have not specified the physical condition of the man and reported no other vehicles or occupants involved in the motorcycle rollover collision.
Failing to yield was potential factor in scooter-vehicle crash, OKC PD says
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Failing to yield was a potential contributing factor behind a scooter-vehicle crash near Straka Terrace, on Tuesday, Oklahoma City Police say.
Police said the scooter rider may not have yielded to oncoming traffic, which led to a crash with a vehicle, News 9 reports.
The scooter rider sustained critical injuries and was rushed to a hospital for surgery.
Police are working to determine the events leading to the collision and have not reported any citations for the involved occupants.
OK DPS investigates collision in Capitol View, South Park Estates
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety is investigating the details behind a Wednesday afternoon traffic collision in the Capitol View and South Park Estates area.
The crash happened before 11 a.m. at the intersection of Northeast 36th Street and North Kelley Avenue, according to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker.
DPS has not reported any injuries and is working to determine the contributing factors behind the crash.
