NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One life was claimed in a two-vehicle collision in Northwest Oklahoma City on Tuesday night, News9 reports. 

The crash happened before 8 p.m. at the intersection of North Council Road and Northwest 50th Street. 

Police did not announce any lane closures, but, at the time of the reporting, urged commuters to avoid the area as they focused on cleaning up debris from the crash. 

Police are actively working to determine the events leading to the two-vehicle collision and have not cited whether they cited or arrested anyone for their involvement in the crash.

Person hospitalized following solo motorcycle crash in Central OKC

CENTRAL OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A person was hospitalized following a solo motorcycle crash in Central Oklahoma City on Wednesday.

The motorcycle collision happened around 5 a.m. on a ramp near Interstate 40 and Meridian Avenue, KOCO reports.

EMS crews did not confirm if the motorcyclist was injured, but said they were taken to the hospital out of precaution.

At least 1 injured in traffic collision outside OKC’s Will Rogers Int. Airport

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured in a traffic collision that occurred outside Will Rogers International Airport on Wednesday.

The crash happened around 11:15 a.m. at the intersection of Southwest 44th Street and South Woodward Avenue, according to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker.

The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety has not specified the severity of injuries sustained or the number of people and vehicles involved.

Officials are working to determine the cause of the crash.

Driver, 20, killed after car plows into fence & trees near Lost City

NEAR LOST CITY, OK – A 20-year-old male driver lost his life after he crashed his car into a fence and two trees near Lost City on Sunday, Fox23 said.

The incident unfolded after 2:30 a.m. The 20-year-old man, who was traveling west on West 720 Road near North Lost City Road, had been driving at a high rate of speed and lost control of his vehicle. He ran a stop sign prior to crashing into the fence and two trees.

EMS personnel declared the driver dead at the scene.

OHP said no passengers were with the 20-year-old man, and has not confirmed whether other vehicles were involved in this collision.

A full investigation is underway.

OK DPS investigates injury collision in OKC’s Nichols Hills

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety is investigating an injury collision that happened in the Nichols Hills neighborhood on Wednesday.

DPS was dispatched to the 440th block of West Wilshire Boulevard and pulled up to the scene around noon, according to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker.

Officials have not specified the severity of injuries suffered, listed the number of vehicles involved, or confirmed the number of people injured.

DPS is working to pinpoint the cause of the crash.
