NEAR POND CREEK, OK – A 56-year-old man from Enid lost his life due to a fiery crash that occurred west of Pond Creek on Thursday, Koco5 reports. 

The incident unfolded before 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 60 and Highway 64. The 56-year-old man had ignored a stop sign and ended up crashing into a light pole. 

The man’s car overturned before catching on fire and he died from his injuries at the scene.  

Traffic delays reported on I-40 East in OKC due to collision

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Traffic delays could be seen on Interstate 40 East in Oklahoma City due to a collision that happened Friday. 

According to KFOR, the crash took place near North Portland Avenue, and congestion could be seen from there. Officials have confirmed the crash has since been cleared, but have not confirmed whether anyone was injured or if anyone needed to go to the hospital. 

The cause of the crash is under investigation. 

1 killed, 6 hurt after car crashes into tree in Pierce 

PIERCE, OK – One person was killed, and six were hurt after a car crashed into a tree off Interstate 40 West on Wednesday, OKCFOX said. 

Oklahoma Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene around 5 a.m. and arrived to find a 17-year-old dead at the scene. OHP said that the teenager was sitting behind the driver’s seat when the crash occurred and was ejected from the vehicle as a result. 

While the aforementioned teenager died, six others, including the driver, survived and sustained unspecified injuries. 

OHP is working to determine why the driver lost control of their vehicle. 

1 dead, 2 injured following rollover collision near Bristow

NEAR BRISTOW, OK – One person died, and two others were injured following a rollover collision in Bristow on Friday, according to News on 6.

The incident occurred around 2 a.m. off South 401st West Avenue and West 181st Street South. Preliminary details from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reveal the driver had, for reasons unclear, crossed the centerline, came back onto the road, left the road again, overturned, and crashed into a fence before overturning again.
The impact of the collision caused a 17-year-old to die from their injuries, while the driver and another passenger survived and were left with unspecified injuries.

OHP said not all occupants wore safety devices.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

At least 1 injured in traffic crash in OKC’s Camelot Estates

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured in a vehicle accident that took place in the Camelot Estates neighborhood on Friday.

The crash occurred before 1 p.m. at the intersection of Northwest 122nd Street and Reynolds Drive, according to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker.

Authorities have not specified the extent of injuries sustained or said whether anyone needed to go to a hospital.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol is working to determine the exact cause of the collision.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the details behind a vehicle accident in the Highlander Community South area on Friday.
