CENTRAL OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Three people were taken to a hospital following an EMBARK bus collision in Central Oklahoma City on Sunday, News9 reports. 

The crash occurred in the area of West Main Street and North Pennsylvania Avenue. The impact of the collision significantly damaged the bus and injured several people. 

Multiple people were sent to the emergency room for treatment. Their current physical conditions were not disclosed. 

Law enforcement is working to determine the events behind the crash.

Several hurt in rollover crash on Turner Turnpike in Jones

JONES, OK – Several people were hurt in a rollover crash that happened on Turner Turnpike in Jones on Sunday, according to News9

Two cars overturned near Mile Marker 143 near North Hiwasse Road, and prompted a response from at least one Emergency Medical Services Authority ambulance and at least two fire engine trucks. 

Upon arrival, officials closed at least one westbound lane to accommodate the scene clean-up process and overall investigation.  

The cause of the rollover crash has not been made immediately clear and no citations or charges were reported. 

1 hospitalized following trash truck rollover collision in OKC 

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person was hospitalized following a trash truck rollover collision that occurred on Interstate 40 in Oklahoma City on Saturday. 

News9 said the crash happened along Richland Road. Preliminary details from News9 reveal that the dump truck was transporting a skid steer when it fell off the truck and went into the center lane. 

The impact of that mishap led the truck to overturn and come to rest in the center lane. 

Law enforcement said one person was injured as a result of the collision and was sent to the emergency room. Officials did not disclose the physical condition of that individual nor confirm whether they were the truck driver or passenger.

Driver’s life claimed after car overturns near Springer

NEAR SPRINGER, OK – A driver’s life was claimed after her car crashed and overturned near Springer on Saturday, KTEN reports.

The rollover collision occurred before 3 a.m. on Interstate 35 South near mile marker 45. The woman’s car overturned on its roof, and she died from her injuries at the scene.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol did not say what caused the driver, from Lone Grove, to lose control of her car.

2 women killed in head-on collision near Tahleuqah

NEAR TAHLEQUAH, OK – A 44-year-old woman and a 79-year-old woman died as a result of a head-on collision near Tahlequah on Friday.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol told KTUL the incident unfolded when the 44-year-old female driver, traveling west on Highway 51, drifted out of her lane and crashed into an eastbound vehicle head-on.

OHP pulled up to the scene after 12 p.m. and said the 44-year-old female driver and the passenger from the other vehicle, the 79-year-old woman, succumbed to their injuries.

The other driver survived and was left with serious injuries.

OHP has not confirmed what caused the 44-year-old woman to drift out of her lane.

OK DPS investigates vehicle accident in Yukon’s West Watch area

YUKON, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety is investigating the details behind a vehicle accident that took place in the West Watch neighborhood on Monday.

According to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker, the crash occurred before 1 p.m. on the 11209th block of West Reno Avenue.

Authorities did not specify the cause of the collision and have not reported any injuries or citations at this time.
