The Legal Internship Program at Cain Law

Cain Law, one of Oklahoma City’s preeminent personal injury firms, is proud to announce our personal injury law office internship program. We work with a service through law schools to find qualified interns to work in our office beside our attorneys and legal staff. Our legal internship in Oklahoma City provides a unique insight into the practice of law while you are still attending law school. Gain real-world experience and a chance to develop new skills through this amazing opportunity.

What Our Interns Do

Our Oklahoma City law offices are always busy. We fight tirelessly to protect the rights of Oklahoma City injury victims who have been injured in truck wrecks, car wrecks, by nursing home abuse, or by defective products. We also handle Social Security disability and workers’ compensation cases. Our law firm has won over $50 million for our Oklahoma clients. We know this is only possible through the hard work and dedication of every single member of our team.

We provide a professional setting where you can learn first-hand what it is like to work in a busy personal injury firm. You can expand your understanding of the law and its application through this once in a lifetime experience.

The interns at Cain Law perform integral services for our firm. They help attorneys gather evidence for cases, review and summarize documents, and draft official legal documents for attorneys review to advance our clients’ cases. Duties of the personal injury law office intern will include:

  • Draft pleadings with attorney supervision
  • Draft discovery responses with attorney supervision
  • File documents at the courthouse
  • Request and retrieve accident reports
  • Complete research and writing assignments with attorney supervision
  • Observe real depositions and hearings

Meet Our Current Intern

The current Cain Law intern is Yuanyuan (YY) Zhang.

“I am from China, currently a law student at The University of Oklahoma. I used to go to Chinese Law School and worked at a Chinese law firm. I have had the best experience working as a legal intern at Cain Law. The people here are super nice and helpful, plus Lauren Willoughby is the best mentor attorney I have ever met. It is a big family, and I feel very thankful being a part of it.”
