NORTH OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision outside Masa Ramen & Sushi in North Oklahoma City on Friday.

KOCO said the crash occurred in the area of Western Avenue and Memorial Road. The impact of the collision left one SUV significantly damaged and caused another vehicle to come to rest on the side of the road.

First responders have not specified the severity of injuries the hospitalized person suffered.

Authorities briefly shut down the intersection to allow crews to clean up debris from the crash and remove the impacted vehicles.

Officials are working to determine the cause of the collision.

Moore PD dispatched to rear-end crash involving school bus

MOORE, OK – Moore Police were dispatched to the scene of a rear-end crash involving a Moore Public Schools bus on Thursday, KOCO reports.

Police said a driver of a white pickup truck crashed into the back of the school bus in the area of Eastern and Broadway Avenues.

Police confirmed no one, including students on board the bus, was injured. Officials did, however, request the presence of a district mental health liaison and their therapy dog, Ellie, to provide emotional support for the students.

Police did not provide additional commentary on the specifics of the rear-end crash or say whether they cited either driver.

Alleged DUI driver in custody following fiery collision in SE OKC

SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – An alleged DUI driver is in custody following a fiery collision in Southeast Oklahoma City on Thursday.

The crash occurred around 11:45 p.m. in the area of Northeast 122nd Street and the Broadway Extension, KOCO said.

Video footage showed a white car that was half-burned and significantly damaged. Police are working to determine the cause of the fire.

Police have not disclosed more information about the events leading to the collision and have not reported any injuries.

Moore PD working to ID victim in deadly pedestrian-train crash

MOORE, OK – Moore Police and the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office are working to identify a victim who was killed in a deadly pedestrian-train crash last month.

OKC Fox said the incident happened on Saturday, Feb. 28, in the area of Indian Hills Road and Interstate 35. The victim, a white female pedestrian, was struck by a train and later died from her injuries.

Officials said the victim is 5’2, weighs 133 pounds, and is believed to be between 16 and 28 years of age. She has blue eyes, brown hair, and no tattoos or scars.

On the day of the crash, she wore a black tank top, black North Face pants/capris, and gray Nike REAX Run 5 sneakers with red and white logos.

The victim has been reported as missing since February. Members of the public are urged to contact the police immediately if they know someone matching this description.

Suspects sought in fatal hit-and-run that killed pedestrian in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City Police are searching for the suspects in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash that claimed a pedestrian’s life on Wednesday.

The incident unfolded around 6 a.m. near Southwest 59th Street and South Francis Avenue, OKCFOX said.

The female pedestrian was struck by two vehicles. The drivers of those cars did not render aid to the victim or call 911 and fled the scene of the crash prior to the police’s arrival.

The woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

Police believe the second driver was operating a black Dodge Charger, and the first driver was driving a light-colored, compact crossover SUV.

Anyone with more information about the hit-and-run crash or the drivers involved is asked to contact the police immediately.

At least 1 injured in traffic collision north of OKC’s Surrey Hills Golf Club 

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured in a traffic collision that took place north of the Surrey Hills Golf Club on Friday. 

The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety was dispatched to the intersection of North Mustang Road and Northwest Expressway and arrived at the scene before noon., according to the OKC Response & Accident tracker. 

DPS has not specified the severity of injuries or the cause of the crash.
