OWASSO, OK – A male driver was sent to the hospital following a pickup truck crash outside of the Reasor’s grocery store at 11815 East 86th Street North on Sunday.

Fox23 said the incident unfolded when the male driver got out of his pickup truck to clear ice from his windshield with a scraper. As he was doing the scraping, the car rolled forward, and the driver did what he could to stop the truck from moving. Despite his best efforts, his own vehicle ran him over.

A Good Samaritan saw what unfolded and put the truck in park, allowing it to come to rest.

The male driver was left in serious physical condition and sent to the emergency room for treatment.

Owasso police have launched a full investigation. No additional information is available at this time.
