FORT COFFEE, OK – Two men in their 20s died following a two-vehicle crash that occurred on the outskirts of Fort Coffee on Friday, KTUL reports.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the incident happened after 11:45 p.m. on Orchard Lane. Preliminary details show that a driver, a 24-year-old man, was driving on the hilly road when he drifted out of his lane and crashed into another vehicle and a ditch.
The driver and his passenger, a 25-year-old man, did not wear seatbelts and succumbed to their injuries. OHP identified them as Fort Coffee locals.
OHP has not confirmed what caused the driver to lose control of his vehicle, and did not say if the occupants from the other vehicle were injured.
Driver killed, passenger hurt in single-vehicle collision in Jenks
JENKS, OK – A driver was killed and a passenger was hurt in a single-vehicle collision on Friday, according to KTUL.
The single-vehicle collision happened around 11 p.m. on OK 364, also known as Creek Turnpike. Oklahoma Highway Patrol said an 18-year-old male driver crashed into a tree after swerving to avoid hitting another vehicle.
OHP later determined that the driver was speeding. The driver, an 18-year-old man from Cherryvale, Kansas, died, while his passenger was left with unspecified injuries.
OHP investigates school bus crash on I-44 in OKC
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the details behind a school bus crash that took place on Interstate 44 in Oklahoma City on Friday.
Guthrie Public Schools told News9 that the collision involved one of their school buses. Based on what our team knows so far, the school bus collided with four other vehicles around 1:45 p.m. near Northwest 23rd Street.
District personnel said the bus passengers were the Guthrie High School boys’ basketball team and their coach, who were on their way to play in a tournament in Weatherford.
Despite the severity of the collision, the school bus occupants were spared from injuries, according to district personnel.
OHP did not say if the occupants from the other vehicles were injured, nor did they report any citations.
Man, 56, killed in single-car collision on I-335 in Harrah
HARRAH, OK – A 56-year-old man was killed in a single-car collision on I-335 on Saturday, OKCFox reports.
The incident unfolded when the 56-year-old man lost control of his car while driving on the freeway. He drifted off the road and crashed into a bridge abutment. The force of the collision caused his car to become airborne and fall onto Northeast 23rd Street.
The male driver died from his injuries at the scene.
1 life claimed, 2 injured in three-vehicle crash in NW OKC
NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One life was claimed, and two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash on Sunday, News9 said.
The collision took place in the area of Northwest 10th Street and North Morgan Road.
Preliminary details show that a motorcyclist crashed into an SUV. The SUV driver passed out upon impact and then plowed into a parked truck.
The force of the collision led the motorcyclist to die from their injuries.
The passenger with the motorcyclist and the SUV driver survived. EMS crews transported them both to local hospitals for treatment.
Traffic delays reported toward I-240 due to vehicle accident in Moore
MOORE, OK – Traffic delays extended toward I-240 due to a vehicle accident that happened in Moore on Monday.
Total Traffic Network’s OKC division reported the crash at 7:50 a.m., saying it happened on the southbound I-35 before Southwest 4th Street.

Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews did not report any lane closures, but likely told drivers to proceed with caution as they worked to clean up debris leftover from the crash.
As of this writing, officials have not said if anyone was injured or was cited.
