EDMOND, OK – A female driver was sent to a hospital following a crash with a fallen tree that occurred on Thursday, News9 reports.

The woman was driving on southbound Broadway Avenue near North Covell Road when a fallen tree branch pierced through her sunroof window and hit her.

The woman lost control of her vehicle and crashed. She sustained minor injuries and was sent to a hospital for treatment.

Majority of I-35 shuts down due to big rig collision in Purcell

PURCELL, OK – Officials shut down a majority of I-35 due to a big rig collision that happened on Thursday morning, OKCFOX said.

The crash occurred near mile marker 83. Purcell first responders did not specify the events leading up to the collision. However, a photo from the Purcell Fire Department reveals that the semi-truck had jackknifed.

Officials shut down almost all northbound lanes, but left one lane open to accommodate the flow of traffic.

At this time, no injuries or citations were reported.

NORMAN, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Transportation blocked a portion of I-35 South at exit 110B connecting to Robinson Street due to a Thursday morning vehicle accident.

The Total Traffic Network’s Oklahoma City division first reported the crash at 8:15 a.m., saying officials blocked the left lane.

NORTH OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Traffic slowed toward I-40 following a collision that happened on I-235 in North Oklahoma City on Thursday.

Total Traffic Network’s Oklahoma City reported the crash at 8:05 a.m. Transportation crews blocked the right lane on I-235 North from North 10th Street to accommodate the scene clean-up process.
