Three Cain Law Office attorneys receive prestigious recognition
Cain Law Office is proud to announce that three of the firm’s attorneys have been named as Super Lawyers or Rising Stars by Super Lawyers, a rating service of lawyers that uses a multi-faceted and patented selection process to identify outstanding lawyers and provide a reliable referral service for consumers.
The firm’s founding attorney, Monty Cain, has been selected to the 2023 Oklahoma Super Lawyers list. Each year, Super Lawyers’ attorney-led research team evaluates lawyers across the United States in 70 different practice areas for consideration in the organization’s selection process. The selection process includes multiple levels, including peer nomination, independent research, and peer evaluation. Researchers rank lawyers in each state based on the following factors:
- Verdicts and settlements
- Transactions
- Representative clients
- Experience
- Honors and awards
- Position within the law firm
- Special licenses or certifications
- Bar and other professional activity
- Scholarly lectures and writings
- Education and employment background
- Pro bono and community service
- Other outstanding achievements
These factors are not ranked equally. Some are provided with more points than others. After this careful analysis, up to five percent of lawyers are selected for inclusion in the annual Super Lawyers list for the state. This is a prestigious distinction that Monty Cain is proud to receive.
In addition to Monty Cain’s selection as a 2023 Oklahoma Super Lawyer, two other attorneys at Cain Law Office have been recognized by the organization as Rising Stars. Rilee Harrison has been selected to the 2023 Oklahoma Rising Stars list for the first time, while Anthony Alfonso has been selected to the list for the second time. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in a state are selected by the attorney-led research team at Super Lawyers to receive this prestigious honor.
The selection criteria for the Rising Stars list is the same as for Super Lawyers, and it is just as competitive. The difference is that to be named a Rising Star, the attorney must be 40 or younger or have been in practice for less than ten years.
