TIAWAH, OK – Two people were killed in a two-vehicle collision that took place on Oklahoma Highway 88 on Wednesday, KTUL said. 

One driver veered off their lane and into the opposite lane of traffic, and crashed into another vehicle. 

Both drivers, the sole occupants of their vehicles, died from their injuries at the scene. 

6 hurt in multi-vehicle crash involving semi-truck in Love Co.

LOVE COUNTY, OK – Six people were hurt in a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck in Love County on Interstate 35 on Tuesday, KXII reports.

The incident unfolded when a 58-year-old man driving a big rig veered off the highway, overcorrected, and crashed into a car.

The driver of the car crashed into a third vehicle, another car.

The truck overturned as a result of the crash, and its 58-year-old male driver and his passenger were injured.

A passenger in one car, and three others — a 63-year-old female driver and her two passengers — also sustained unspecified injuries.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol identified one of the drivers as a man from Ardmore, but reported no injuries for him.

Officials shut down the northbound lanes for over three hours before reopening the area.

OHP investigates fatal fiery collision near Asher

NEAR ASHER, OK – Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the details behind a fatal fiery collision that happened near Asher on Tuesday.

OHP told KFOR that a car caught fire after colliding with a commercial vehicle on U.S. 177 along Sing Road.

A photo showed an overturned vehicle that was completely charred and blocking the road.

At least two OHP cruisers, another law enforcement vehicle, an ambulance, and at least one fire truck were at the scene.

OHP has not stated the victim’s age, gender, or place of residence, and continues to investigate the contributing factors behind the crash.

OK DOT shuts down I-40 West along South Anderson Road due to crash 

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma Department of Transportation shut down Interstate 40 West along South Anderson Road due to a crash on Wednesday. 

News on 9 said only one lane was left open to accommodate the on-scene clean-up process. 

Officials have not reported any injuries, violations, or stated the cause of the crash

At least 1 injured in vehicle accident in OKC’s Glen Eagles

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured in a vehicle accident that happened in the Glen Eagles neighborhood on Wednesday.

According to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker, the crash took place before 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of West Memorial Road and North Western Avenue.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

DPS investigates injury collision in Uptown OKC

UPTOWN OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety is investigating the details of an injury collision that happened in Uptown Oklahoma City on Wednesday.
