NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A pedestrian was injured in a crash involving a vehicle that happened in Northwest Oklahoma City on Thursday.
The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle around 7 a.m. in the area of Northwest 16th St. and Grand Boulevard, according to OXCFOX.
Police confirmed the driver stayed at the scene.
Officials closed NW 16th Street over Interstate 44 for investigation purposes.
Authorities have not disclosed the pedestrian’s current physical condition and are working to learn more about the events that led to the collision.

NEAR WYNNEWOOD, OK – A driver is facing criminal charges in connection with a deadly 2025 crash that killed three teenagers near Wynnewood.
According to Koco5, the FBI told the victims’ families that the accused driver, an 18-year-old woman, turned herself in. While she faces several charges, she has been released without bond.
The Back Story: The incident unfolded on July 11, 2025, when one driver did not slow down at a stop sign and then collided with a pickup truck. The impact of the crash led a 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl to succumb to their injuries at the scene, while a 17-year-old boy died from his injuries several days later.
