NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A motorcyclist was sent to the hospital after a crash involving a car in Northwest Oklahoma City on Monday, KOCO said.
The motorcycle and car collided before 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of North May Avenue and Northwest 66th Street.
EMS crews rushed the motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries, while the car driver was uninjured.
Oklahoma City Police confirmed the driver stayed at the scene, but have not mentioned whether they cited them or if charges were filed against them.
Police shut down the northbound lanes of May Avenue.
Woman left with broken leg following hit-and-run in OKC’s Springdale
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman was left with a broken leg following a hit-and-run collision in the Springdale neighborhood on Tuesday, KOCO reports.
The driver struck a woman with their vehicle in the area of Northwest 50th Street and Meridian Avenue before fleeing the scene.
OKC Police and EMS arrived at the scene after 1:30 a.m. An ambulance rushed the woman to a hospital for treatment of her broken leg.
The woman appears to be in stable condition.
Police located the suspect’s vehicle, but have not found the suspect themself or made any official arrest.
Police are actively working to locate the suspect and learn more about the events leading up to the hit-and-run collision.
At least 1 injured in vehicle crash in OKC’s Pitts Park
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured in a vehicle crash that occurred in Pitts Park on Tuesday, the OKC Response & Accident Tracker reveals.
The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety was dispatched to the intersection of Northeast 23rd Street and North Jordan Avenue. DPS arrived at the scene before 11:30 a.m.
Officials did not report any lane closures, but likely told drivers to proceed with caution as crews worked to clean up the debris from the crash, remove the impacted vehicle(s), and restore safe road conditions.
The extent of injuries has not been reported. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
OK DPS summoned to vehicle accident near OK Christian University
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma Department of Public Safety was summoned to the scene of a vehicle accident near Oklahoma Christian University on Tuesday.
DPS said the crash happened before noon at the intersection of East Memorial Road and North Bryant Avenue, according to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker.
No injuries or citations have been reported.
Authorities are working to determine the events leading to the collision.

OK DOT closes U.S. 270/SH 1 in Calvin due to collision
CALVIN, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Transportation had to shut down the intersection of U.S. 270 and State Highway 1 last Tuesday, March 31, due to a collision.
⛔All lanes of US-270/SH-1 are closed between US-270/US-75 in Calvin and SH-31A in Stuart due to a crash. Crews anticipate the closure potentially lasting into the rush hour. Drivers should avoid the area and locate an alternate route.

OKDOT first reported the crash at 4:04 p.m., and said they closed lanes between U.S. 270 and U.S. 75 in Calvin and State Highway 31 A for the scene clean-up process and overall crash-related investigation.
As of this writing, no citations or injuries were reported.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety was dispatched to the scene of a vehicle crash in OKC’s Forest Park area on Tuesday.
The OKC Response & Accident Tracker reported the collision at 11:45 a.m., saying it happened at the intersection of westbound Northeast 36th Street and North Sooner Road.
