OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured in a traffic collision that happened in the Blue Quail Ridge area on Thursday.

Oklahoma Department of Public Safety was dispatched to the 13804th block of North May Avenue and pulled up to the scene after 12 p.m., according to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker.

Authorities did not specify the extent of injuries or the cause of the collision.

OK DPS investigates injury crash west of Wiley Post Airport – PWA

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety is investigating the details behind an injury crash that happened west of Wiley Post Airport – PWA on Thursday.

According to the OKC Response & Accident tracker, the crash happened before noon at the intersection of West Wilshire Boulevard and southbound North Interstate 344.

DPS pulled up to the scene before noon. Officials did not announce any lane closures, but likely informed drivers to proceed with caution or redirected traffic so crews could clean up debris from the crash and render aid to the involved occupant(s).

Officials have not confirmed the number of people and vehicles involved or specified the extent of injuries.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

UPDATE: OKC PD arrests suspect in connection with fatal-hit-and-run on SW 59th St. 

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City Police arrested one suspect in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a female pedestrian on Southwest 59th Street, OKCFOX said. 

The incident happened around 6 a.m. last Wednesday, March 25, along South Francis Street. The female pedestrian died after she was struck by a light-colored, compact crossover SUV and then a black Dodge Charger. 

Two of the drivers fled the scene of the crash and one of them has been arrested. 

Woman pleads guilty to assault, manslaughter in deadly Bryan Co. collision

BRYAN COUNTY, OK – A 38-year-old woman pleaded guilty to several charges in relation to a collision that killed a 24-year-old woman and her unborn child in May of 2025, KXII reports.

The 38-year-old woman, from Caddo, faces the following four separate charges: Two counts of assault resulting in serious bodily injury in Indian Country, one count of involuntary manslaughter of an unborn child in Indian Country, and one count of involuntary manslaughter in Indian Country.

The collision happened on May 5 on Interstate 70 along the Choctaw Nation Reservation. Information from Caddo’s court indictment suggests she was under the influence of Fentanyl when she swerved into the opposite lane of traffic and crashed head-on into an SUV.

The SUV passenger, the 24-year-old woman, and her unborn son all died from their injuries.

Two other SUV occupants survived but were assaulted by the Caddo woman and consequently suffered serious injuries.

The Caddo woman could face more than 30 years of prison time, and is now free on bond.

OK DPS summoned to vehicle accident in Northwest OKC

NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety was summoned to the scene of a vehicle accident that happened in the Van Buren area on Thursday.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Northwest 133rd Street and North Rockwell Avenue, the OKC Response & Accident Tracker reports.

No injuries or citations have been reported at this time.

Traffic collision reported in OKC’s Windsor Hills

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety was dispatched to the scene of a traffic collision that took place in the Windsor Hills area.

Authorities were requested at the intersection of eastbound West Reno Avenue and northbound Meridian Avenue, according to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker.

Officials pulled up to the scene after 1 p.m. They have not announced any lane closures, but likely asked drivers to proceed with caution as authorities worked to clean up debris from the crash.
