LOCUST GROVE, OK – One person died, and another was injured in a rollover collision that occurred on the outskirts of Locust Grove around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Fox23 reports.

The incident unfolded when a 29-year-old male driver drifted out of a westbound Highway 412 Alternative lane, overcorrected, went over a centerlane, overcorrected, and left the road before crashing into a fence. His vehicle overturned.

The 29-year-old man, a Pryor resident, died from his injuries. His passenger survived and was left with unspecified injuries.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed that neither occupant wore a seat belt. OHP is working to determine what caused the driver to lose control of his vehicle.

One person hospitalized after car crashes into NW OKC liquor store

NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person had to go to a hospital after a car crashed into the Mayfair liquor store on Thursday.

The collision occurred off the intersection of Northwest 50th Street and May Avenue, according to KOCO. Oklahoma City police determined that a person driving a silver sedan was going at a high rate of speed when they crashed into the liquor store.

The driver of the sedan also crashed into a blue car outside the store.

The driver of the blue car was taken to the emergency room and the driver of the sedan appears to be in stable condition.

Traffic congestion reported on I-40 near Midwest City after multi-vehicle collision

NEAR MIDWEST CITY, OK – Heavy traffic congestion could be seen on Interstate 40 near Midwest City as a result of a multi-vehicle collision that happened on Thursday.

KOCO said the crash occurred on the westbound lanes of the interstate, just east of Kickapoo Turnpike. The force of the collision caused one car to go onto the shoulder and sent a second vehicle into the grassy median.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol and fire crews were summoned to the scene. While no lane closures were reported, traffic delays extended for at least six miles. During that time, authorities worked to clean up debris from the wreck and render aid to the occupants.

The crash has since cleared. Officials have not specified how the crash unfolded or reported any injuries.

OK DOT dispatched to vehicle accident in Camelot Estates

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Transportation was dispatched to the scene of a vehicle accident that happened in the Camelot Estates area on Wednesday.

Total Traffic Network’s Oklahoma City division first reported the crash at 3:15 p.m., saying it took place at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Northwest 125th Street.

Officials have not specified how the collision unfolded, listed the number of people and vehicles involved, or said whether anyone was injured.

OKC PD arrests alleged DUI driver after crash at Topgolf

NORTH OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City Police arrested an alleged DUI driver in connection with a crash that damaged a Topgolf building on Wednesday.

The incident unfolded after 10 p.m., when the alleged DUI driver crashed into the side of a Topgolf establishment along Chisolm Creek, according to KOCO.

The driver fled the scene of the crash but was immediately found at a nearby restaurant.

Police arrested the motorist on “suspicion of DUI, possession of a controlled substance, leaving the scene of a crash, obstructing officers, and not having a valid driver’s license.”

Police said the driver had a slight cut to his arm. No other occupants were involved, and no other injuries were reported.

OK DPS called to vehicle accident along the Tinker Golf Course 

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety was dispatched to the scene of a vehicle accident that occurred along Tinker Golf Course on Thursday.
