OOLOGAH OK – A 26-year-old man, who was initially in serious condition, died from his injuries after a crash involving a semi-truck on Thursday, a Fox23 update reveals.
The incident unfolded around 10 a.m. when the 26-year-old man rear-ended a semi-truck. The semi-truck driver told the Oklahoma Highway Patrol that they stopped to allow another vehicle to turn right from U.S. 169 onto South 4070 Road. Officials determined that the 26-year-old man did not notice the stopped truck when he crashed into the back of it.
The force of the crash led the 26-year-old man to die from his injuries. OHP identified him as a Collinsville resident.
The truck driver was uninjured.
OHP confirmed both motorists wore seatbelts and did not report any citations for the truck driver.
Rollover collision in Catoosa claims life of 36-year-old man
CATOOSA, OK – A 36-year-old man was killed in a rollover collision that happened on Wednesday, Newson6 reports.
The single-vehicle crash happened before 8 a.m. on U.S. Highway 412, also known as East 31st Street, near OK 364, also known as the Creek Turnpike. Preliminary details indicate that the 36-year-old male driver was traveling at a high rate of speed on eastbound Hwy. 412, which is what led him to lose control of his vehicle and crash into a fence.
The man’s vehicle flipped over several times before going into a pasture.
Tulsa police declared the male driver dead at the scene and confirmed he was the sole occupant of his vehicle.
NSTSB confirms more details surrounding fatal plane crash in NW OKC
NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The National Security Transportation Safety Board released more details surrounding a fatal plane crash that happened in December of 2023.
According to News9, the plane collision happened north of Wiley Post Airport. New information a pilot was operating the aircraft when he experienced an engine failure and a significant oil leak after taking off. These were the contributing factors that led to the fatal plane crash that killed the pilot and the passenger with him, his wife.
NSTSB has not been able to confirm the origin of the oil leak.
At least 1 injured in vehicle accident in Manwell Acres
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured in a vehicle accident that took place in the Manwell Acres area on Friday.
The crash occurred at the intersection of eastbound West Reno Avenue and northbound South Rockwell Avenue, according to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker.
Officials have not specified how the collision unfolded, listed the number of people and vehicles involved, or the extent of sustained injuries.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Transportation blocked a portion of the northbound I-35 along I-40 due to a Friday morning vehicle accident.
Total Traffic Network’s Oklahoma City first announced the crash at 8 a.m., saying traffic delays could be seen towards I-240 as officials worked to clean up debris from the collision and remove the impacted vehicles.
Officials are working to determine the exact cause of the collision and have not reported any injuries or citations for the involved occupants.

PIEDMONT, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Transportation and Public Safety were dispatched to the scene of a collision that happened in Piedmont on Friday.
Total Traffic Network’s Oklahoma City first announced the crash at 6:55 a.m., saying it took place at the intersection of Northwest Expressway and Piedmont Road.
