TULSA, OK – Tulsa police arrested an impaired driver after causing a rollover collision outside the Memorial Park Cemetery on Thursday, KTUL reports. 

The incident happened before 4:45 a.m. when the impaired driver, a 21-year-old man, rear-ended another vehicle on the 5300th block of South Memorial Drive. The force of the collision caused the other vehicle to rollover and land on its roof. 

The female driver of the overturned vehicle sustained unspecified injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene.   

The 21-year-old man’s vehicle suffered significant damage, and the driver was taken to the hospital to be evaluated for injuries. 

The 21-year-old man confessed to Tulsa police that he had been drinking alcohol since 11 p.m. on Wednesday. When police searched the vehicle, they also found several bottles of open alcoholic beverages before arresting the young impaired driver. 

Female suspect sought in connection to crash in Enid

ENID, OK – Enid police are searching for a female suspect in connection with a crash that happened last month, OKCFox reports.

Enid police released a photo of the woman and asked anyone with information on the suspect or the collision to contact the police immediately at the phone number in the source.

Anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest may be entitled to a reward.

Police have not specified the details leading up to the collision, the number of people and vehicles involved, or if anyone was injured.

Edmond Home damaged in collision along Gaillardia Golf Club

EDMOND, OK – A home in Edmond was damaged as a result of a collision that happened along Gaillardia Golf Club around noon on Wednesday.

A pickup truck crashed into the home’s garage in the area of Northwest 150th Street and North MacArthur Boulevard, News9 reports.

Fire crews and paramedics were at the scene of the crash, but did not say if the driver or anyone inside the home was injured.

Officials have yet to confirm what caused the driver to plow into the home.

SUV driver seriously hurt in crash with big rig in Oologah 

OOLOGAH, OK – An SUV driver was seriously injured in a crash involving a big rig on northbound U.S. Highway 169 in Oologah on Thursday. 

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol told Newson6 that the collision happened around 10 a.m. at the intersection of  Old U.S. 169 and South 4070 Road. The SUV appeared to collide with a Dollar General big rig and warranted a response from fire crews, troopers, and medical helicopter personnel. 

The medical helicopter flew away from the scene just before 11 a.m. Officials did not confirm if the SUV driver was transported by ground or airlifted to a hospital for treatment. 

Officials shut down the majority of the road, but left one lane open to accommodate the scene clean-up process and investigation. 

As it stands, officials have not disclosed the exact cause of the crash or reported any citations. 

OK DPS responds to injury crash south of Edwards Park

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety is responding to the scene of an injury crash south of Edwards Park.

The collision happened before 1 p.m. at the  Northeast 10th Street and northbound Interstate 35 connector, according to Oklahoma City’s Response & Accident Tracker.

The severity of the injuries has not been disclosed.

The exact cause of the crash is under investigation.

At least 1 injured in vehicle accident along Will Rogers Int. Airport 

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured in a vehicle accident that took place along Will Rogers International Airport on Thursday. 

OKC’s Response & Accident Tracker reported the crash at 11:40 a.m., saying it happened at the northbound I-44 and Southwest 89th Street connector.
