OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – An unidentified person was struck and killed by a semi-truck in northwest Oklahoma City on Friday afternoon, News 9 reports.

The fatal collision happened on the Kilpatrick Turnpike near Meridian Avenue shortly before 1 p.m. on December 26.

Responding police say the truck driver remained on the scene after the fatal crash.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Total Traffic News reports that a collision took place at an intersection in north central Oklahoma City on Friday morning.

The incident occurred on Classen Boulevard at NW 23rd Street.

Bad Crash Shuts Down Northbound I-44 in SW OKC

Oklahoma City, OK – A serious collision backed up northbound traffic on I-44 on the northwest side for about 2.5 miles early this morning, KOCO reports.

The crash happened near SW 74th street, just before the interchange with I-240. Helicopter footage captured a badly damaged white sedan, although it remains unclear if anyone was injured.

A tow truck eventually arrived to remove the damaged car from the scene.

Accident Occurs on WB I-40 near Choctaw Rd

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A collision took place in the westbound lanes of I-40 close to Choctaw Road during the morning rush hour on December 26.

Oklahoma Transportation reported the accident at 8:40 a.m. Friday morning.

6-Year-Old Dies in 2-Car Crash in Grady Co.

GRADY CO., OK – A six-year-old child died as the result of a two-vehicle crash that took place in Marlow on December 23.

According to Fox 25, two vehicles collided at the intersection of US-81 and CR-1590 at about 4:30 p.m. last Tuesday.

Both vehicles were heading northbound when one slowed to make a left-hand turn. The other driver did not slow in time, striking the turning vehicle from behind.

Oklahoma State Police say the six-year-old was a passenger in the rear vehicle. They say all occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time.

We do not know whether anyone else suffered injuries.

Authorities Respond to Crash in Youngs-Englewood
