OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman died after being hit by a car while she was walking on Lake Hefner Parkway on Christmas evening.
KOCO reports that the fatal collision happened near 122nd Street at about 8 p.m. on Thursday.
The driver who hit the woman pulled over to the side of the road and activated their hazard lights. Another driver subsequently rear-ended that vehicle. Neither driver was seriously injured.
The fatal accident closed the northbound lanes until about 12:30 a.m. Friday. It is unclear why the woman was walking on the highway.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Authorities responded to a collision that took place on Grand Boulevard north of SW 18th Street early Christmas morning.

Driver Injured in Suspected DUI Crash on I-40
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman was injured in a dramatic rollover collision that happened on I-40 in northwest Oklahoma City on Christmas Eve.
According to News 9, Jada Berry lost control of her vehicle somewhere near the I-35 interchange. The car left the roadway and overturned twice before coming to a rest. Emergency responders rushed Berry, 26, to a local hospital. Her condition was unavailable at press time.
Police say that they suspect Berry was intoxicated at the time of the accident.
Crash Reported on 122nd Street at N May Ave
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Total Traffic Network reports that a collision took place at the intersection of 122nd Street and N May Avenue in the mid-afternoon hours of Christmas.
The crash happened at about 2:25 p.m. Authorities had cleared the scene by 5:10 p.m.
