OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Approximately 50 live chickens spilled from a flatbed truck as a result of a crash that happened near eastbound I-44 and I-240 on Tuesday. 

Oklahoma Highway Patrol told OKCFOX that they believe the driver was traveling too fast for road conditions, which is what caused the collision. 

It’s unclear if the driver was injured, but OHP did confirm that several of the chickens on board died. 

The Department of Agriculture and crews were summoned to the scene. They closed a portion of the road to allow for the scene clean-up process and overall investigation.

At least 1 hospitalized after two-vehicle crash involving Madill officer

MADILL, OK – At least one person was sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash that involved a Madill police officer last Friday evening, on Dec. 19.

The Madill police cruiser and a civilian vehicle collided at the intersection of State Highway 377 and State Highway 99, according to KTEN.

First responders indicated that the hospitalized person was being treated for minor injuries.

As of this writing, officials have not provided an update on the physical condition of the injured individual or specified how the collision unfolded.

Heavy fog suspected in 10-vehicle collision in Fair Oaks 

FAIR OAKS, OK – Heavy fog was a suspected contributing factor that led to a 10-vehicle collision on Tuesday, KTUL reports. 

The multi-vehicle wreck occurred before 6:15 a.m. on eastbound Highway 412, near 305th Avenue. 

Pafford Medical Services, Rolling Hills Fire Protection District #1, the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and Oak Grove Firefighters all responded to the scene. 

Officials shut down the area to remove the impacted vehicles and clean up debris.

No injuries or citations for the involved drivers were reported. 

Multi-vehicle wreck in NW OKC sends one person to hospital

NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person was transported to a hospital following a multi-vehicle wreck on Monday, going into Tuesday.

KOCO said the collision occurred before midnight at the I-44 and Northwest Expressway connector. Video footage from the source showed a light-colored hatchback with significant front-end damage, and a white commercial van on the back of a tow truck. At the time of the reporting, crews were in the process of removing those vehicles from the site.

Oklahoma City police have not provided details regarding what led to the crash or the extent of injuries the hospitalized person sustained.

Injuries sustained in vehicle accident in downtown OKC

DOWNTOWN OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a vehicle accident in downtown OKC on Tuesday.

Total Traffic Network’s Oklahoma City first reported the crash at 6:55 a.m., saying it happened at the intersection of Northwest 6th Street and North Harvey Avenue.

First responders have not confirmed how the crash happened or specified the extent of injuries that were sustained.

OK DPS responds to injury collision at Will Rogers Int. Airport

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma Department of Public Safety responded to an injury collision that occurred at the Will Rogers International Airport on Tuesday.

OKC’s Response & Accident Tracker said the collision happened around 10:30 a.m. on the 5400th block of South Meridian Avenue.

First responders are working to determine how the crash unfolded. At this time, they have not confirmed the number of people who were injured, specified the extent of the injuries that were suffered, or said whether anyone was cited.
