PRYOR, OK – According to new information from Fox23, it was a 26-year-old woman who lost her life to a two-vehicle collision that happened on the outskirts of Pryor on Tuesday.

New details reveal that a 17-year-old driver was traveling west on Highway 20 when they struck a car driven by a 26-year-old woman. Prior to the collision, the 26-year-old female driver stopped at a stop sign at Hwy 20 and Carbine Road before going into the intersection.

An ambulance and a medical helicopter were called to the scene.

Medical helicopter personnel transported the 26-year-old woman to a hospital in Tulsa, where she later died.

The teenage driver was transported by ground to an emergency room for treatment of minor injuries.

Pryor police did not say if they cited the surviving driver.

An investigation is underway.

OHP responds to wrong-way wreck in Guthrie

GUTHRIE, OK – Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a Wednesday night wrong-way wreck that occurred in the area of Highway 33 and Post Road.

A person was driving west on eastbound Highway 33 when they crashed head-on into another vehicle, KOCO reports. Video footage showed a mangled white car with a significantly damaged engine, and a black car with deployed airbags. Both of the vehicles came to rest in a grassy area.

OHP is working to figure out how the crash unfolded. At this time, law enforcement has not disclosed the number of people involved, reported any sustained injuries, or said anyone was sent to the hospital.

Heavy delays reported on NW 192nd St. due to pickup truck crash

NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Significant delays were reported on the west and eastbound lanes of Northwest 192nd Street due to a Thursday morning pickup truck crash.

At the time of KOCO’s reporting, two of the pickup trucks were in the process of being towed away. The impact of the crash left at least one of the vehicles significantly damaged.

Oklahoma City police have not confirmed whether anyone was injured, nor have they said how the crash happened. No ambulances were at the scene of the accident.

Police did not shut down the entire intersection and appeared to leave one lane open to accommodate the steady flow of traffic.

OK DPS reports injuries in vehicle accident in OKC’s Midtown 

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety reported injuries in a vehicle accident that happened in Midtown on Thursday. 

The collision occurred before noon at the intersection of East Park Lane and North Oklahoma Avenue, according to OKC’s Response & Accident Tracker

Law enforcement is working to determine how the crash unfolded and has not specified the extent of injuries sustained.

At least 1 injured in traffic crash in Edgewater’s OKC 

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured in a traffic crash that took place in the Edgewater neighborhood on Thursday. 

OKC’s Response & Accident Tracker first reported the crash at 10:35 a.m., saying it occurred at the southbound Lake Hefner Parkway and westbound Northwest 63rd Street intersection. 

The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety has not disclosed how the collision happened, nor have they confirmed the extent of injuries. No citations were reported.

OK DPS summoned to injury collision north of The Grove Park
