The pursuit started around 11 p.m. and ended when the crash occurred near Southwest 149th Street.
Oklahoma City and the New Castle Police Departments both responded to the pursuit-turned-collision. At this time, officers did not confirm if they arrested any of the suspect(s) or specify the events that led to the chase and crash.

Fence damaged in crash caused by hit-and-run driver along OCU
EDMOND, OK – A backyard fence was damaged in a crash caused by a hit-and-run driver along Oklahoma Christian University on Friday.
The collision happened off the intersection of East Memorial Road and North Eastern Avenue, according to OKCFOX. A neighbor, who witnessed the crash, said the vehicle, a dark-red colored sedan, plowed through the wooden fence. The driver immediately fled the scene on foot.
The suspect’s vehicle license plate number, as shown in the source’s photo, is BLT-622.
Oklahoma City police have not announced any arrests, nor have they provided a description of the suspect.
As of this writing, it’s unclear if the rest of the exterior and interior of the home were damaged.

UPDATE: Suspect arrested after hit-and-run crash that damaged fence along OCU
EDMOND, OK – Oklahoma City police arrested a suspect responsible for a hit-and-run crash that happened along OCU around 6 a.m. Friday.
According to new information from News9, the suspect was found at a nearby apartment after crashing into a home’s backyard fence off East Memorial Drive.
The collision appeared near North Eastern Avenue and Northwood Boulevard on the border of Oklahoma City and Edmond.
Police have taken the suspect into custody and confirmed no home occupants were inside the home when the crash happened.
No injuries were reported.
Delays reported towards Rockwell Ave. following I-40 traffic accident
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Traffic delays could be seen towards exit 143 at Rockwell Avenue and exit 142 at Council Road due to a Friday morning traffic accident on I-40.
Total Traffic Network’s OKC division first reported the collision at 7:55 a.m., and said crews were able to clear the scene in a span of 15 minutes at 8:10 a.m.
