TULSA, OK – A female pedestrian was fatally struck by a car while walking on East Admiral Place on Tuesday.
The crash happened west of Highway 169. Tulsa police told KTUL that the female pedestrian was not using a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a Chevy Malibu. The teen driver, 16, immediately got out of their vehicle and performed CPR prior to first responders arriving.
Despite the best efforts conducted by the teen and emergency personnel, the female pedestrian died from her injuries. Officials did not disclose the woman’s identity, only stating that she was in her 60s.
Pilot’s life claimed in helicopter collision in Sportsmen Acres
SPORTSMEN ACRES, OK – A pilot’s life was claimed in a helicopter collision that happened in the Sportsmen Acres Community on Friday.
Newson6 said the pilot crashed in the area of 550 Road and 0584 Road along the Neosho River, which is in Cherokee Nation.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol and EMS crews responded to the crash site and declared the victim dead at the scene. The pilot was the sole occupant of their helicopter, troopers confirmed.
At this time, officials are working to determine how the crash unfolded.
Woman critically hurt in pedestrian crash in NW OKC
NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman was left in critical condition as a result of a pedestrian crash that happened on Thursday.
The woman was struck by a vehicle while crossing the intersection of North Council Road and Northwest 10th Street, according to KOCO.
The crash happened after 8 p.m. and warranted a quick response from EMS crews, who transported the woman to a hospital for treatment.
Oklahoma City police said the driver stayed at the scene. No other details have been made available.
Suspect killed in pursuit-turned-crash in OKC
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A suspect was killed in a pursuit-turned-crash that occurred in Oklahoma City on Thursday night, Newson9 said.
The events unfolded when Oklahoma City police noticed a driver speeding. Police attempted to pull the driver over, but they did not listen, which led to a pursuit.
The pursuit began in the area of Southwest 59th Street and South Pennsylvania Avenue and ended when the suspect crashed their vehicle off Northwest 23rd Street and I-40.
The suspect died from their injuries at the scene.
Emergency crews respond to van rollover accident in Broadway Park
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City police and fire crews responded to the scene of a van rollover accident in the Broadway Park area on Thursday.
According to OKCFOX, it seemed that a driver of a white van had crashed into a fence, which caused it to roll over and lean against the fence.
The collision happened in the area of North Kelley Avenue and East Hefner Road. Police are actively working to determine how the collision unfolded and have not said if the driver was injured.
