NEAR TONKAWA, OK– A 67-year-old man was killed in a rollover collision that happened on Interstate 35 North on Monday, News9 reports.
Preliminary details show that the 67-year-old man, from Bayou Visita, Texas, was driving when he lost control of his car and crashed into a cable barrier. The car flipped over several times and ejected the driver.
The driver died from his injuries at the scene. His passenger was uninjured.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the details behind the crash.
Delays reported on I-240 in SW OKC due to four-vehicle crash
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Traffic delays could be seen on westbound I-240 as a result of a four-vehicle crash that happened Tuesday morning.
The collision occurred between concrete barriers just off Eastern Avenue, KOCO said.

Hit-and-run collision in Yukon sends pedestrian to hospital
YUKON, OK – A pedestrian was sent to the hospital following a hit-and-run collision that occurred in the West Watch area on Tuesday, OKCFOX reports.
A woman was struck by an SUV while crossing the intersection of Reno Avenue and Mustang Road. The woman told the news source that the SUV driver did not render aid and fled the scene.
The woman called 911, and they arrived at the scene after 5 a.m. Ambulance crews transported the woman to the emergency room for treatment of a broken leg.
Drivers try to cross Pawnee’s railroad tracks, ending in crash with train
PAWNEE, OK – Two drivers attempted to cross some railroad tracks, which ended in a crash involving a train on Tuesday, Fox23 said.
BNSF police and Pawnee police said that the collision occurred at the intersection of 6th Street and Kansas Street. It was there that both drivers had proceeded through the closed signs, and both their vehicles became stuck on the tracks.
The two drivers were able to exit before the oncoming train arrived and escaped injuries as a result.
As for the drivers’ vehicles, both were significantly damaged after being hit by the train. The force of the wreck caused one vehicle to be dragged approximately 100 yards, and it was left without an engine.
Police did not confirm any citations.
Collision reported in OKC’s Linwood neighborhood
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Total Traffic Network’s Oklahoma City division reported a collision in the Linwood neighborhood on Wednesday.
The crash happened before 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Drexel Boulevard and Northwest 16th Street.
Officials have not specified how the crash unfolded, listed the number of people and vehicles involved, or said whether anyone was injured.
