ELMORE CITY, OK – A 73-year-old woman was killed and an 83-year-old man was injured in a head-on crash that happened on Highway 29 Saturday.
According to KTEN, the crash happened after the woman drifted out of her westbound lane into an eastbound lane and crashed head-on into a vehicle driven by an 83-year-old man.
The drivers are local to Elmore City.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol did not specify the contributing factors behind the deadly wreck, nor specify the physical condition the man was left in.

OWASSO, OK – One person died and three were sent to the hospital following a fiery multi-vehicle wreck that happened Tuesday, News9 reports.
Preliminary details show that a truck driver was speeding and did not reduce their speed. As a result, they rear-ended a stopped car. That car then crashed into the back of another vehicle, resulting in a chain-reaction crash.
At least one vehicle caught on fire and fuel spilled everywhere.
At the time of the reporting, officials shut down the area until at least noon for the scene clearance and investigation period.
Interstate-35 in Southeast OKC closes due to pickup truck rollover collision
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials had to shut down a majority of I-35 North on Tuesday due to a pickup truck rollover collision.
KOCO said the crash happened near Southeast 66th Street, and the impact caused the truck’s right rear wheel to disappear. Despite the nature of the collision, the driver was spared from serious injuries.
Fire and transportation crews left one lane open to accommodate the flow of traffic.
All lanes have reopened since.
No injuries reported in vehicle accident along Integris Health
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – No one was injured in a vehicle accident that happened along Integris Health’s hospital Tuesday.
OKC’s Response & Accident Tracker first reported the crash at 12:18 p.m., saying it took place at the southbound South Douglas Avenue and Southwest 38th Street intersection.
Authorities have not specified the exact cause of the collision or said if anyone was cited for their involvement in the crash.
OK-DOT called to I-240 collision in Southeast OKC
SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews were called to the scene of a collision that happened on I-240 East Tuesday.
TTN Oklahoma City first reported the crash at 7:25 a.m. and said it happened along Walker Avenue. Traffic delays could be seen on Pennsylvania Avenue as a result of crews closing a portion of the area to clean up debris from the crash.
Officials did not specify how the collision unfolded or whether anyone was injured.
