TULSA, OK – According to KTUL, five people were hurt in a multi-vehicle collision caused by street racers at East 15th Street and Memorial Drive on Sunday.

Two drivers were racing on Memorial Drive when one of them struck an SUV at the intersection with East 15th Street. The SUV then collided with another SUV.

First responders transported the five people in the SUV that was initially struck to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Following the collision, one of the racers left the scene but eventually returned.

Authorities issued multiple citations to the two racers.

 

1 hurt after multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 near Valley Brook

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A person was hurt in a multi-vehicle collision on northbound Interstate 35 near Southeast 59th Street on Monday, according to KOCO.

The crash involved three vehicles.

Paramedics transported one person to an area hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

Following the collision, crews shut down the area to process the scene.

 

2 officers injured when chase ends with crash near Draper Park

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KOCO, two officers were hurt when a chase ended in a wreck near Southwest 44th Street and South Walker Avenue on Tuesday.

Officers attempted to pull over a driver at Southwest 44th Street and South Walker Avenue around 8 p.m. after receiving information that the driver had narcotics in their possession.

The driver refused to pull over and fled from the police.

Officers performed a tactical vehicle intervention maneuver to stop the driver. During the maneuver, the suspect’s car collided with another patrol vehicle.

The suspect exited his vehicle and fled on foot. Officers tased him and took him into custody.

First responders transported two officers to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities will likely charge the suspect with felony eluding and drug trafficking.

 

Wreck reported on Interstate 35 near Oncue in southeast Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A crash was reported on northbound Interstate 35 near Southeast Grand Boulevard on Wednesday, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

 

Emergency crews respond to crash in Reed Park

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to TTN Oklahoma City, first responders were called to a wreck at North May Avenue and Northwest 10th Street on Wednesday.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 8:15 a.m.

Officials have not provided additional details.

 

Auto accident disrupts traffic near Westbury

OKLAHOMA CITY,  OK – A crash blocked traffic at South Morgan Road and Southwest 8th Street on Wednesday, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

Emergency crews responded to the incident around 7:40 a.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the wreck.
