MINCO, OK – According to News 9, four children and three adults were hurt when a Minco High School bus crashed near Oklahoma 152 and County Street 2760 on Monday.

The bus, driven by the head softball team coach, a 38-year-old man, was returning from a softball game in Andarko when the driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer around 8 p.m. The driver collided with the deer, causing the bus to roll over once and land on its wheels.

Four people were thrown from the bus during the collision.

Of the 18 people on the bus, two adults suffered minor injuries, one adult sustained life-threatening injuries, two children suffered minor injuries, and two children suffered critical injuries.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

Semi-truck driver fatally collides with sedan near Manwell Acres

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Authorities are investigating a deadly crash that occurred near Reno Avenue and North Ann Arbor Avenue on Wednesday morning, according to FOX 25.

The wreck was between a semi-truck and a car. The person driving the car died in the collision. It is unclear if the semi-truck driver was hurt.

Officials have not released the deceased person’s name.

Man dies following single-vehicle wreck in Burneyville

BURNEYVILLE, OK – According to FOX 25, a man died in a single-vehicle collision on Oklahoma 32 near Oklahoma 96 on Wednesday.

A 74-year-old man was driving east on OK 32 when he strayed off the road, plowed through a barbed-wire fence, hit a pipe point, and crashed into an embankment at 10:17 a.m.

First responders transported the driver to an area hospital, where he died.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

Wreck near Scissortail Park injures at least 1 person

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a crash at South Harvey Avenue and Southwest 10th Street on Wednesday, according to the Response and Accident Tracker.

The incident was reported to authorities around 9:13 p.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

 

Paramedics respond to injury accident near Oakwood II

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to the Response and Accident Tracker, first responders were called to an accident with injury at Southeast 44th Street and South Sunnylane Road on Wednesday.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 6:46 p.m.

Officials have not provided more details.

 

Auto accident disrupts traffic near Memorial Park – Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A collision blocked traffic at Northwest 36th Street and North Olie Avenue on Wednesday, according to TTN Oklahoma City.

Emergency crews responded to the incident around 8:15 a.m.
