ROGERS COUNTY, OK – According to KOCO, a driver died after he slammed into the back of a school bus at U.S. 169 and East 370 Road on Wednesday.
A 66-year-old man was driving a pickup truck when he plowed into the rear of an Oologah-Talala Public Schools bus that was unloading children. The bus had its lights on and a stop sign extended at the time of the crash.
First responders pronounced the pickup truck driver dead at the scene.
Nine of the 27 students on the bus suffered minor injuries.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
Woman dies following crash on Legate Road in Love County
LOVE COUNTY, OK – An 83-year-old woman died in a single-vehicle collision on Legate Road near Scott Road on Tuesday, according to KOKH.
The woman was driving west on Legate Road when she strayed off the road, overcorrected, hit an embankment, and overturned.
The driver died in the wreck. Her passenger was not hurt.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
Pedestrian struck, killed by driver on Interstate 240 near Olive Garden
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KOCO, a driver fatally collided with a pedestrian on Interstate 240 near Pennsylvania Avenue on Wednesday.
A man was crossing westbound Interstate 40 on foot when a driver hit him sometime on Wednesday night.
First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Troopers did not close down the scene because they do not believe a chargeable offense occurred.
Crash near Swisher Park injures at least 1 person
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a wreck at Southwest 15th Street and South County Line Road on Thursday, according to the Response and Accident Tracker.
The incident was reported to authorities around 12:58 p.m.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
Paramedics respond to injury accident near Prime Time Nutrition
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to the Response and Accident Tracker, first responders were called to an accident with injury at Southwest 44th Street and South Walker Avenue on Thursday.
Dispatchers received calls concerning the wreck around 11:40 a.m.
Officials have not disclosed additional details.
Injury accident clogs traffic near The Greens
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – An accident with injury snarled traffic at Memorial Rd and Portland Ave on Thursday, according to TTN Oklahoma City.
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 2:55 p.m.
