GRADY COUNTY, OK – According to FOX 25, a man died after a three-vehicle collision on US 81 on Monday.
A 72-year-old man was driving when he stopped in the road to hook up a trailer that had come loose—a second driver, a 59-year-old woman, parked behind the first car with its flashers on.
Another driver was heading south on US 81 when he collided with the second vehicle. The collision pushed the second vehicle into the first one. The first driver was then hit by the trailer.
First responders pronounced the third driver, a 74-year-old man, dead at the scene. The other two drivers were injured. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
Child dies in multi-vehicle collision in Lincoln County
LINCOLN COUNTY, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal three-vehicle crash that occurred near US 177 and US 62 on Saturday night, according to FOX 25.
A 36-year-old man was heading north on US 177 when he stopped at a stop sign at the intersection with US 62. A 31-year-old driver was heading south on US 177 when he rear-ended a vehicle operated by a 38-year-old man. The collision caused the 38-year-old to collide with the driver’s side of the 36-year-old’s vehicle.
First responders pronounced a 2-year-old passenger from the 36-year-old’s vehicle dead at the scene. The driver and two other passengers were hurt in the wreck.
Officials have not released the victims’ names.
Troopers investigate deadly single-vehicle accident on East 1100 Road in Elk City
ELK CITY, OK – According to FOX 25, one teen died and another person was hurt in a single-vehicle collision on East 1100 Road near North 1940 Road on Saturday.
A 17-year-old male was heading west on East 1100 Road when he ran the intersection and went flying over 100 feet before landing on North 1940 Road and rolling several times. The vehicle came to rest in a field.
The driver and his passenger were thrown from the car during the crash. The driver died in the crash. The passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
Wreck clogs traffic on Interstate 40 in Del City
DEL CITY, OK – A crash was reported on westbound Interstate 40 near Reno Avenue on Tuesday, according to TTN Oklahoma City.
The incident caused traffic to back up to Sooner Road, over two miles southwest of the crash site.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.

Emergency crews respond to accident on Interstate 44 near Luther Dulaney Park
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to TTN Oklahoma City, first responders were called to a crash on eastbound Interstate 44 near North May Avenue on Tuesday.
Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 7:20 a.m.
Officials have not provided additional details.

Auto accident disrupts traffic on Interstate 40 in Canadian County
CANADIAN COUNTY, OK – A crash blocked traffic on eastbound Interstate 40 and Interstate 344 on Tuesday, according to TTN Oklahoma.
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 7 a.m.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the incident.
