LOGAN COUNTY, OK – According to KOCO, a passenger died when a box truck driver fell asleep at the wheel and hit a parked Oklahoma Department of Transportation truck in a closed lane of Interstate 35 near Oklahoma 33 on August 14.

A 40-year-old man driving a box truck slammed into the unoccupied ODOT truck around 2:20 a.m.

The passenger in the box truck died in the collision. Officials have not released their name.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

Hit-and-run driver injures teen near Westlawn Gardens

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A hit-and-run driver struck a teen girl near West Reno Avenue and Villa Avenue on August 8, according to KOCO.

Authorities believe the suspect’s vehicle is a 2015-2017 Dodge Ram 1500 with purple fog headlights and colored taillights.

Following the collision, first responders transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.

1 hurt in single-vehicle crash on Old 66 Road in Caddo County

CADDO COUNTY, OK – According to FOX 25, a person was hurt in a single-vehicle collision at the Canadian River near Old 66 Road on Saturday, according to KOKH.

A 42-year-old man was driving when he crashed sometime Saturday evening.

The driver’s passenger was hurt in the wreck. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

 

Wreck injures at least 1 person near Will Rogers International Airport

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a crash at eastbound Interstate 240 and South Meridian Avenue on Monday, according to the Response and Accident Tracker.

The incident was reported to authorities around 2:14 p.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to TTN Oklahoma City, first responders were called to a wreck at North Portland Avenue and Northwest 50th Street on Monday.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 7:20 a.m.
