NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Uptown Cheapskate OKC North, a popular thrift store, was damaged as a result of a single-car collision on Tuesday, OKCFOX reports.

The single-car collision occurred after 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Northwest 138th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. For reasons unclear, a driver of a car crashed into the establishment.

Oklahoma City Police confirmed no one, including the driver, was injured.

Police are working to determine the events leading to the collision.

OK DPS investigates crash in OKC’s Southern Hills

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety is investigating the details behind a crash that happened in the Southern Hills neighborhood on Wednesday.

The crash happened before 11 a.m. on the 1117th block of Southwest 81st Street, according to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker.

DPS has not reported any citations or injuries for the involved drivers and occupants.

Officials have not disclosed the number of people and vehicles involved, and are continuing to pinpoint the events that led to the collision.

OK DPS dispatched to vehicle collision in NW OKC

NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety was dispatched to the scene of a vehicle collision at the intersection of North Rockwell Avenue and West Memorial Road.

According to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker, DPS said the collision happened before noon on the eastbound lanes. Officials did not announce any lane closures, but likely told drivers to anticipate delays as they worked to clean up debris from the collision and remove the impacted vehicles.

No injuries or citations have been reported.

OK Turnpike Authority closes westbound I-44 near Walters due to truck crash

NEAR WALTERS, OK – The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority closed a portion of Interstate 44 West along mile marker 16 on Tuesday due to a truck collision.

OTA first announced the crash at 3:30 p.m. and said the impact of the collision caused gravel from the truck to spill on the road. This prompted closures of the I-44 westbound lanes and southbound lanes on U.S. 277.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, and no injuries or citations have been reported at this time.

Fire crews dispatched to truck fire southeast of Vinita

NEAR VINITA, OK – Fire crews were dispatched to the scene of a truck fire that happened on eastbound Interstate 44 southeast of Vinita, last Wednesday, April 8.

The collision happened before 8 p.m. at mile marker 294, according to an X post from the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority.

Officials rediverted traffic toward U.S. 60.

Authorities have not specified the cause of the truck fire or said whether anyone was injured.
