OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Three people, including an Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper, were killed in an Interstate 35 crash on Wednesday, an OKCFOX update reveals.
The crash occurred before 12 p.m. near Britton and Hefner Roads. Preliminary details reveal that an SUV driver, a 36-year-old woman, swerved out of her lane to avoid getting struck by debris from a pickup truck and then struck the male OHP trooper.
The impact of the collision led the OHP trooper, a 36-year-old female driver, and her 4-year-old daughter to succumb to their injuries.
OHP said they located the driver of the pickup truck with the fallen debris, but did not confirm if they were directly involved in the crash or whether they arrested them.

Crews shut down I-40 East in OKC due to semi-truck rollover collision
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Crews had to shut down Interstate 40 East for several hours near Rockwell Avenue in Oklahoma City due to a semi-truck rollover collision on Wednesday.
Koco said the crash occurred near Rockwell Avenue. Closures began after 7 p.m. on Wednesday and extended into early Thursday morning to allow crews to stabilize the truck and clean up debris.
The events leading up to the collision remain scarce. However, what is known is that the impact of the crash caused the truck to overturn, and goods from the truck to spill out. It’s not immediately clear if anyone was injured.
Officials did not confirm how many people were involved, and have not announced any citations or charges.
Moore PD dispatched to school bus accident at NE 12th St., Broadway Ave.
MOORE, OK – Moore Police were dispatched to the scene of a school bus accident that happened at Northeast 12th Street and Broadway Avenue on Thursday, Koco said.
Based on what our team knows so far, the school bus collided with a car. The specifics of what led to the crash were not disclosed. However, officials did confirm that no one, including the students on the bus, was injured.
The students on board were taken to school.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured in a vehicle accident that happened east of Will Rogers International Airport on Thursday.
The crash occurred before 11 a.m. at the intersection of Southwest 74th Street and South May Avenue, according to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker.

Woman, 62, killed in crash involving travel bus near Perry
NEAR PERRY, OK – A 62-year-old woman’s life was claimed in a crash involving a travel bus near Perry on Wednesday, according to The Athletic.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the collision happened on Interstate 35. Preliminary details show that the 62-year-old female driver was allegedly weaving in and out of traffic when she collided with a travel bus.
The 62-year-old woman died from her injuries.
Oklahoma State University’s softball team – the bus passengers – were uninjured. Officials said they were heading to a game against Wichita State University’s softball team on the day of the collision.
OK DPS dispatched to injury vehicle accident in Central OKC
CENTRAL OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety was dispatched to the scene of an injury vehicle accident in Central Oklahoma City on Thursday.
The collision occurred before 11 a.m. at the intersection of Northwest 8th Street and North Walker Avenue, the OKC Response & Accident Tracker reveals.
Officials have not confirmed the extent of injuries or said if anyone needed to go to the hospital.
