NORMAN, OK – A person was sent to the hospital following a pedestrian-vehicle crash along the University of Oklahoma in Norman on Thursday, News9 reports.

The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle around 6 a.m. at the intersection of 12th Avenue Southeast and East Lindsey Street.

EMS crews rushed the pedestrian to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Several police cars pulled up to the scene and seemed to block a portion of the road. At the time of the reporting, they told drivers to expect delays as they pursued their investigation and as crews worked to clean up debris left from the crash.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Traffic delays were reported on Interstate 44 along Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue due to a Thursday morning collision, KFOR said.

At least one police vehicle and a fire truck engine were at the scene. They closed the far left lane to accommodate the scene clean-up process, a KFOR image reveals.
