OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One man was arrested and one woman was injured following a two-vehicle crash that damaged a utility pole on Monday, Koco said.
The collision occurred around 11 p.m. in the area of Northwest 164th Street and North Pennsylvania Avenue. Oklahoma City Police told News9 that the incident unfolded when the driver rear-ended another vehicle.
The impact of that two-vehicle crash caused one of the vehicles to plow into the utility pole, resulting in power outages. The power has since been restored.
An ambulance took the woman to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries, who officials say is in stable condition.
Oklahoma City Police did not specify why they arrested the man, nor did they confirm whether it was the man or the woman who caused the rear-end collision.
Police are continuing an investigation.

Motorcyclist sent to hospital following crash with pickup truck in NW OKC
NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A motorcyclist was sent to the hospital following a crash involving a pickup truck in Northwest Oklahoma City on Tuesday, News9 reports.
The collision occurred before 7 a.m. at the intersection of North Portland Avenue and Northwest 10th Street. Based on the Koco video footage, it appears that the motorcycle became pinned underneath the white pickup truck.
Koco said the motorcyclist was injured and appeared to be conscious and alert prior to the arrival of Emergency Medical Services Authority, who took the motorcyclist to a hospital.

T-bone collision in OKC sends dirt bike rider to hospital
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A dirt bike rider was hospitalized after a T-bone collision at South Pennsylvania Avenue and Southwest 76th Street on Monday.
Oklahoma City Police told News9 that they determined the dirt bike rider was weaving in and out of traffic when they collided with an SUV.
Police said the SUV driver was driving north on South Pennsylvania Avenue and turning left onto Southwest 76th Street when the SUV crashed into the other vehicle.
Police said the SUV driver continued driving, but did not confirm if they were fleeing the scene or driving to a nearby home.
The dirt bike rider appeared to be seriously injured, but their current physical condition is unknown.
Officials closed the area for the on-scene investigation for the time being.
Driver airlifted after semi-truck overturns in Love Co.
LOVE COUNTY, OK – A driver was airlifted to a hospital after a semi-truck crashed and overturned on Interstate 35 North on Monday, KTEN reports.
The impact of the collision pinned the driver inside their truck, and a grass fire immediately followed.
Officials shut down the area for over 90 minutes and redirected traffic toward U.S. 77 at exit 5.
It is not immediately clear what caused the driver to lose control of their truck.

OK-DPS dispatched to vehicle accident in Edmond
EDMOND, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety was dispatched to the scene of a vehicle accident in the Brenton Hills area on Tuesday.
DPS was dispatched to the intersection of North Santa Fe Avenue and Aurora Drive before 12:30 p.m., according to OKC Response & Accident Tracker.
No injuries were reported at this time.
OK DPS investigates vehicle collision in OKC’s Metro Park
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety is investigating a vehicle collision in the Metro Park area on Tuesday.
The crash happened before 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of South Klein Avenue and Southwest 2nd Street, according to the OKC Response & Accident Tracker.
Authorities did not report any injuries or citations.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
